FAQs
What’s Kyumi?
Kyumi is my middle name, translating from Korean to "Beautiful Star." My first name is Sabrina, and this practice is the culmination of a life spent hunting for the "gems" that make an environment feel truly settled.
I work best with individuals who have a keen sense of style but whose demanding lives have left their spaces feeling like an afterthought. You don’t need a decorator to tell you what you like; you need an editor to help you realize it. My role is to provide the spatial clarity, bridging the gap between a room full of potential and a home that is authentically yours.
Do you work with contractors?
Yes. For Styling projects, we provide design oversight and coordination with trusted tradespeople. We act as your representative to ensure that the physical changes—whether paint, lighting, or custom millwork—are executed to the highest aesthetic standard.
What is Archive Editing?
This is our specialized "treasure hunting" service. We go through your existing inventory—or an inherited estate—to separate the "gems" from the "trash." We help you decide what is worth restoring and what should be let go, ensuring your space is defined by quality rather than clutter.
Do you work on commercial spaces or cafes?
Absolutely. The principles of balance, flow, and "quality over quantity" apply to every environment. We help small businesses and cafes create spaces that feel intentional and branded without feeling "over-designed."
