kyumi design’s Services
kyumi design isn't a white-glove firm that takes over your home for six months. It's a focused, one-person studio for people who know what they want but haven't had the time to get there.
I take on a small number of projects at a time so I can deliver a presence and quality. My clients are typically busy people who have good taste and zero bandwidth—they know what they want their home to feel like, they just haven’t had time to get there.
Every service is flat-fee with a defined scope. You’ll always know what you’re paying and what you’re getting before we start.
The Edit
What’s in your home already matters.
You have furniture, art, and objects — some inherited, some collected, some just accumulated. The problem isn’t that you have too much stuff. It’s that nothing is working together.
In an Edit session, I go through your space with you and make decisions. What stays, what goes, what moves to a different room, what gets reframed or restyled. You walk away knowing exactly what to keep, what to sell, and what the room needs next — if anything.
This is also the starting point for clients who want to use Kyumi’s resale sourcing to move pieces on.
$250 / hour — most Edit sessions run 2–3 hours.
The Consult
A plan and the pieces to execute it.
This is for clients who need two things: clarity on what’s wrong with the layout, and someone to find what’s missing. I start with a spatial audit — floor plan, flow, lighting — and deliver a clear brief on what needs to change and why. Then I source and find the specific pieces that fit your space, your budget, and your timeline.
You make the final call on every purchase. I do the research, filtering, and follow-up.
$1,500 flat — covers the audit, sourcing brief, and one round of curated recommendations.
The Full Room
Start to finish, handled.
For clients who want a room completely resolved — furniture, lighting, textiles, art placement, and styling — without managing any of it themselves. I handle design, sourcing, vendor coordination, and installation. You’re involved in approvals, not logistics.
This tier works for primary residences, rental properties being repositioned, and small commercial spaces.
Typically $3,500–$6,500 per room, depending on scope and sourcing complexity. Trade implementation billed at 15%.
